Code compliance cases
The city's records list code compliance cases requested from December 2019 onward, one record per case, with up to seven violations the inspector recorded. The lookup searches the property cases and shows which are open, in progress or on hold.
The city moved its code compliance cases to a new system in late 2024, and fewer cases are listed from late 2024 through 2025 than before or after, so that period may be incomplete; the lookup says so with every answer.
Cases are matched by house number and street name. When one house number exists on two streets of the same name (59th Avenue and 59th Drive), the lookup asks for the street type rather than guessing.

Questions
How do I look up code compliance cases for a Glendale address?
Enter the street address in the lookup above. It checks that the address is inside the City of Glendale, then lists the code compliance cases the city has on record for that house number and street since December 2019: how many are open, the violations the inspector recorded, and whether the city started a clean-and-lien action or took the case to court.
Which cases are included?
Property cases: property maintenance, building without a permit, rental, pool, sign, setback and general code requests. Requests about vehicles and parking, animals, noise, business licenses, home businesses, yard sales and mobile vendors are left out, because they are not about the condition of the property.
Does it show building permits?
No. The City of Glendale does not publish its building permit records, so permits are not searched. Ask the city's Building Safety division for the permit history.
What is a clean and lien action?
It is the city starting a clean and lien action on the case: the city cleans up the property and places a lien for the cost. A buyer should ask whether a lien was recorded and whether it was paid.
What else is in the full report?
A HeritageDeed report for a Maricopa County address adds the owner of record from county assessor records, the recorded deeds, deeds of trust and releases from the Recorder, judgments and liens indexed under the owner's name, federal court cases, the flood zone and nearby EPA-listed sites, with the Glendale cases above in one PDF.
